When you are getting ready to wring a pigeons neck you would grab the pigon by the neck and twist it's neck as fast as you can. You can't wring their neck real slow or you did not wring it's neck fast enough. You will know if you wrung it's neck because it will make a cracking noise. The reason the neck makes a cracking noise is because their spine goes up to their head and their spine snaps into pieces. If their spine breaks the pigon will die immediatly.
